Welcome to St. Gregorios Indian Orthodox Church located in Hamilton, New Zealand. We are a parish under the Madras Diocese of the Indian Orthodox Church, which is headquartered in Kottayam Kerala, and is governed by His Holiness, Catholicose of the East and Malankara Metropolitan.
The Indian Orthodox Church is also known as Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church established in AD 52 by St. Thomas . Our mission is to promote the rich heritage of the ancient Orthodox Church and foster loyalty and affection among people. We strive for upholding the Christian values among the community and help members to retain their faith, identity and traditions.
